Women “midlife and beyond” are the fastest growing segment of the recreational horse world. Whether you have been around horses all of your lives or coming back after years away due other obligations. A huge number of women are getting to horses for the first time. You are *finally* living your dream.
No matter the situation, for us, being in the horse world poses challenges that the rest of the population does not face. This seminar will cover those challenges and more!
Bio: Fran Severn is a freelance writer and broadcaster who grew up in the city but was determined to get horses in her life. She’s covered the Kentucky Derby, shipping horses to the Olympics, riding on Civil War battlefields, and the chuckwagon races at the Calgary Stampede. She is the author of “Riders of a Certain Age: Your Guide to Loving Horses Mid-Life and Beyond,” as well as a number of other publications. She is an engaging and knowledgeable speaker.
