I am truly honored to receive the OVCTA Volunteer of the Year award. Volunteering allows me to contribute to a group that fosters learning and camaraderie among riders of all ages. Supporting the participants in the many events OVCTA offers, from horse shows to clinics, has been a rewarding experience.

One of my favorite events was serving as a ring steward at the Spring Hunter Show – who can resist kids and their ponies? Watching those young riders navigate the classes with such determination and joy made the experience even more special.

Another highlight of volunteering has been connecting with fellow volunteers and learning about their journeys with horses. Their dedication and stories were an inspiration, reinforcing how fortunate I am to be part of such a supportive community.

I look forward to continuing as a member of the OVCTA, contributing to our sport and helping to create memorable experiences for riders and horses. Thank you for this incredible recognition!
